Custom flights through Pilfi

Have a specialist
task in mind?
We’ll plan the right flight.

Construction, forestry, search support or site monitoring. Tell us what you need to find out or document. Together, we will define the flight scope, suitable equipment and deliverables for your project.

One-off and repeat flights
When you need more than a standard shot

One flight can serve
many different purposes.

Construction and mapping

Mapping construction sites and terrain, gathering planning data or assessing areas and volumes. We agree on the scope and required accuracy in advance.

2D maps · 3D models · measurements

Construction documentation

Capture the current condition of buildings and infrastructure, and the progress of construction. Repeat surveys help track changes and work progress.

Photos · video · comparisons over time

Forestry and landscapes

An overview of forest areas, tree cover and terrain access. Document changes, damage or specific locations according to the land manager’s needs.

Area overview · mapping data

Missing person search support

Visual and thermal surveys of an agreed area to support a search team. The approach and handover of observations are coordinated to suit the situation.

Observations · images · finding locations

Wildlife searches

Wildlife searches and monitoring using visual or thermal cameras. Survey a selected area and document observations.

Thermal imaging · recorded observations

Security patrol flights

Inspection flights over construction sites, warehouses and other properties. We tailor the monitoring scope, repeat flights and handover of recordings to the specific site.

Site mapping data
For project planning and monitoring

See the site as a whole.

An orthomosaic map, a 3D terrain model or data for measuring areas and volumes. We choose the deliverables that make sense for your project.

  • Mapping the agreed area
  • Data for designers or site managers
  • Format and accuracy agreed in advance

The diagrams are illustrative. We agree on the specific deliverables, scope and processing before carrying out the work.

How it works

Your goal comes first.
Then we plan the flight.

01

Describe your brief

Tell us where the flight is needed, what you want to find out and how you intend to use the results.

02

Assess the options

We assess the location, flight conditions and equipment needed. We agree on the scope, deliverables, timing and price.

03

Carry out the flight

A pilot collects the data according to the agreed plan. For ongoing monitoring, we also arrange repeat flights.

04

Receive the deliverables

Receive the agreed images, recordings or processed data to inform your next steps.

Four things to share for the first consultation
  • Location and area to cover
  • What you want to find out
  • Timing and repeat flights
  • How you will use the results

You do not need to know which drone or camera you need. We will discuss the technical approach together.

Practical questions

Before your first
custom flight.

What if my task is not listed in the examples?

Get in touch anyway. The examples show possible uses, rather than an exhaustive list. Together, we will assess whether a flight is a suitable solution for your brief.

Do I need to know which equipment is required?

No. What matters is the goal, location and desired result. We use these to assess the right camera, imaging method and data processing.

Can you arrange regular flights?

Yes. We can agree on repeat construction imaging, area monitoring or property patrol flights. Frequency and conditions are arranged individually.

Does thermal imaging guarantee finding a person or animal?

No. Thermal imaging helps identify temperature differences, but the results depend on site conditions and the imaging method. Search flights support a coordinated search and do not guarantee a find. In immediate danger, contact the emergency services; a standard enquiry is not an emergency report.

How much does a custom flight cost?

The price depends on the location, scope, equipment, number of flights and data processing. We prepare a specific quote once the brief is clear.

Tell us what you need

You know your goal.
Together, we’ll find a way from above.

Send us the location and a short description of your brief. We will discuss flight options and the deliverables you need.
